Majilis deputy raised the issue of the Book Chamber (video)
Majilis deputy Makpal Tazhmagambetova appealed to Deputy Prime Minister Yeraly Tugzhanov on a number of issues related to the building of the National State Book Chamber and standards for storing valuable artifacts in archives.
“During my visit to the country, I met with the staff of the National State Book Chamber. At the meeting, the archivists raised the topical issue of preserving the funds of the Book Chamber and raising wages.
In his Address, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said that the salaries of cultural workers, archivists and librarians will increase by an average of 20% annually. We warmly welcomed this news.
This question, which worried archivists while preserving the fund of the Book Chamber, is aimed at preserving the archive and preventing threats.
At the same time, it is necessary to check and correct the technical condition of archives that are important for the history of the state and the spirituality of the nation, ”he wrote on his page on the social network.
