Today, the National State Book Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan, with the support of the Education Department of the Akimat of Kostanay region, held a meeting with the best, gifted students and representatives of publishing houses, children's writers and bookstores of the region within the framework of the "Year of Support for Children's and Youth Reading". 

About 100 schoolchildren took part in the online meeting, who asked questions to specialists. 

The event was attended by Deputy director of the National State Book Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan Maraltay Raiymbekovich, outstanding poet, children's writer Yertay Ashikbayev, director of the publishing house "Children's Literature", teacher Shaizada Baykenova, writer Beibit Sarybay, director of the bookstore "Kazyna" Almaz Shaiken, director of the publishing house "Shugylakitap" Lyudmila Kirilinskaya, who spoke on the main issues of the industry and answered the questions of young readers. 

During the meeting, the students of the school conveyed their thoughts to prominent poets and writers of the country, representatives of leading publishing houses, established a direct connection, "Golden Bridge".

That's our goal. We must adapt to publishing, writing books taking into account the needs of children, the needs of students. 

The origins of the life sciences, all the teachings-a book. The craving for a book, the craving for knowledge in any person begins with this school age. To do this, school libraries should accumulate a large fund of Kazakh fiction, scientific and other industry literature. 

The initiative of the National State Book Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan On the establishment of the" Golden Bridge " was supported by several regional departments of education. It makes sense to start the first step with the Kostanay region. 
This initiative will continue in the future. It is important to organize meetings with students and young people from other regions, to establish bilateral and even trilateral relations. 

The voluminous material containing the questions raised during the meeting and the opinions of the participants will be published in one of the republican publications in the near future.
