The staff of the National State Book Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan sincerely congratulate the distinguished writer, playwright, translator, public figure, and long-time Director General of the Book Chamber, Sofy Kalybekovich Smataev, on his 85th anniversary.

     Sofy Kalybekovich has made an invaluable contribution to the development of Kazakh literature and spiritual culture, as well as to the establishment and advancement of the national book industry and bibliography. His literary works and many years of public service have become an important part of the spiritual heritage of several generations of readers.

     On this significant occasion, we wish him strong health, long life, family well-being, inexhaustible creative inspiration, and continued success. May his contribution to Kazakh literature and culture remain forever in the memory and hearts of future generations.
