Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aktoty Raimkulova gave an interview to the Atameken Business TV channel about new initiatives in the field of sports and tourism, about the problems of theaters, cinema and cinema of the country.
"My mother was a great singer. He could not become a professional singer, there was the Great Patriotic War. Dad is a writer. Raimkulov Rakhmetolla Dombira also distinguished himself. There were songs playing in the house, songs. The guests were major musicians. My father accompanied the wonderful Kazakh composer Sydyk Mukhamedzhanov to choose a musical instrument. When I was five years old, I still had a moment when I brought home a piano," recalls the child's day of Aktota Rakhmetullayevna.
The Minister noted that despite the fact that he is in the civil service, he did not close his eyes all night, was fond of writing music and got spiritual pleasure from sitting on an instrument.
During the interview, the Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan told what projects the department plans for 2021.
"We hope that last year we will implement projects, programs that were postponed to this year, and not implemented due to the pandemic. Any content, any product in the field of culture will be aimed at educating the future generation, raising the spirit of the Kazakh people. Much attention is also paid to the promotion of national culture abroad, " he said.
Aktoty Rakhmetullayevna answered the question raised on the basis of a number of rumors about internal reconstruction in the Ministry, about the transfer of state property to private ownership.
"This issue has been discussed for some time. The Department of Culture and Sports under the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan monitors the sphere of culture. So, this is a work within the ministry. The issue of transferring ownership of various cultural objects should be fully completed next year. After all, the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Culture" introduced the norm "state or quasi-state cultural objects cannot be transferred to private ownership". Kazakhfilm is a brand of our country. Therefore, the famous film studio will continue its work.
We have wonderful filmmakers, each of whom has great ideas. Everyone wants to make a good work. We have financial support from the state in film production. There is no such experience in many countries. This is a great opportunity.
Now, under the new law "on Cinema", if someone financially supports the creation of a good picture, he will be exempt from a number of taxes. If cinemas show domestic films in prime time, he will also receive a certain discount on paying taxes, " he said.
Aktoty Rakhmetullayevna told about the work of theaters and cinemas in the conditions of the pandemic, about new projects of the "year of support for children's and youth reading".
