The National State Book Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the public foundation" Information Technology Center" within the framework of the programs" Rukhani Zhangyru", "Digital Kazakhstan" and the President's Address "The Third modernization of Kazakhstan: global competitiveness" presented the project "Smart qalamger" in the hall named after Myrzatai Zholdasbekov of the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The presentation of the project was opened by the chairman of the Language Policy Committee of the Ministry of Culture and Sports Galymzhan Meldesh. The event was also attended by representatives of the Nur-Sultan intelligentsia, led by such writers as Myrzatai Zholdasbekov, Tolen Abdik, Anes Saray, Seit Kaskabasov, Sauytbek Abrakhmanov, Kuanysh Zhienbai, Alibek Askar. The presentation was conducted by the famous poet Kalkaman Sarin. This project, implemented by the National State Book Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan within the framework of the Digital Kazakhstan program, is being implemented jointly with the Information Technology Center Public Foundation. The aim of the project is to create and provide technical support for free websites of writers who are members of the Writers ' Union of Kazakhstan, collect the works of writers in one place and create a homogeneous electronic database of them. Creation of a complete bibliographic directory of writers using the Press Archive of the National State Book Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan, development of their relations with readers, foreign writers.
In his speech, the chairman of the Committee on Language Policy, Galymzhan Meldesh, who was the first to speak at the presentation, emphasized the importance of this project. "This greatly helps our writers to make their works available to a wide range of readers. As the head of state noted, in the era of globalization, the Digital Kazakhstan program is of great importance for our country to be among the competitive, developed countries. "Reading remains, what to offer, preferably knowledge of their works in the spirit of the intelligentsia, made in accordance with the requirements. "I don't want you to know that I can't," she said. "We hope that this project will become a contribution to the reading of books by a modern readership who holds a smartphone in their hands."
Public figure, scientist, Myrzatai Zholdasbekov, in turn, expressed confidence in the future of the project, said that at one time he created his own website for more than a million money and became interested in the authors who owned free sites. Academician Seit Kaskabasov wished and blessed the" Smart qalamger " project for a bright future. Anes Saray and Tolen Abdik were guests of this event, gave blessings, told about modern literature, expressed gratitude. The famous kuishi Zhangali Zhuzbayev was glad to welcome the audience. At the presentation, the director of the National State Book Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Adil Koytanov, familiarized the audience with the websites created for writers and handed certificates to the site owners for further maintenance.

In this regard, it should be noted that the" Smart qalamger " project is not funded by the state. Thanks to a social project prepared for cooperation in creating an electronic database of the book chamber, now every writer can fill his website with his content and present his work to a wide range of readers on the Internet.
