Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, Faculty of Journalism A master class “Book Publishing: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow” by Adyl Koytanov, Director of the National State Book Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan, President of the Association of Publishers, Printers and Booksellers of Kazakhstan, was held in the assembly hall named after Kozhakeev. Kazakhstan. The meeting was attended by the head of the Department of Publishing, Editorial and Design Art, Doctor of Philology, Professor Aigul Ramazan, Associate Professor, Director of the Kazygurt Publishing House Temirgali Kopbaev, Master of Design Beisen Serikbay, Senior Lecturer Nazken Zhanserikovna and future student publishers.
The event, organized by the Department of Publishing, Editorial and Design Art, was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Journalism Sansyzbai Madiev. Then the editor-in-chief Adil Kazhenbaevich spoke about the past, present and future of the Kazakh edition, as well as about the history and functions of the Book Chamber and its plans. In between, he answered questions from young professionals.
During the event, students of the department Yerasyl Sailaugali, Dinara Boranbay read poetry, and Karashash Sembek sang. Thus, the meeting participants were shocked.
At the end of the evening, the head of the department of publishing, editing and design, Aigul Amirgalievna, thanked Adil Kazhenbayevich for the master class and made a souvenir on behalf of Kara Shanyrak.

On 23–24 July, the voting stage for the special nominations in the field of book publishing among the CIS countries took place in Minsk as part of the 23rd International The Art of the Book Competition.
During this stage, the publications submitted by the participating countries were thoroughly reviewed by the international jury. A voting procedure was conducted to determine the best works in each nomination category.

The traditional international competition The Art of the Book was held in Minsk, Republic of Belarus, from 22 to 24 July 2026.
During the visit, Mr. Baiuzakov became thoroughly acquainted with the activities of Belarus's publishing and book sector. He also visited the National Library of Belarus and the Belarus Book Chamber, where he learned about their key areas of work, document preservation systems, and scientific and bibliographic activities.

A Memorandum on Cooperation and Collaboration has been signed between the National State Book Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a Republican State Institution under the Committee for Archives, Documentation and Book Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the Magzhan Zhumabayev Akmola Regional Universal Scientific Library, a Municipal State Institution.
