Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, poet Makpal Mys sent a deputy request to Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Togzhanov Yeraly Lukpanovich, Minister of Information and Public Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Balayeva Aida Galimovna on children's literature and various information products for children. The deputy's request was signed by Makpal Mys, Darkhan Mynbay and Zhuldyz Suleimenova.

"In his Message, President Kassym Jomart Tokayev stressed that"it is very important for children to direct their efforts and interest in the right direction, children are the future of our state." The main mechanism that forms the worldview of teenagers is the press and the book. In this regard, today we are simply concerned. In accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 7, 2020, it is planned to unite all state printed publications under a single brand "Kazakh newspapers". Among them, of course, are the magazines "Baldyrgan", "Petrushka", the newspapers "Friendly guys", "Ulan". The work on the merger will be completed in the second half of this year.

We are sympathetic to the association of common publications. However, as members of the Nur Otan party faction, we are categorically against the inclusion of children's publications in them. Today, the newspaper "Ulan" is published in the amount of 5,000 copies once a week, the magazine "Akelin" - 3,000 copies once a month, the magazine "Baldyrgan" - 7,000 copies once a month, the newspaper" Friendly guys " - 3,000 copies once a week. The annual volume of expenses for four publications is 134 million tenge. We believe that this is not so much money for children's publications – educational means for teaching literacy and the state language.

More than 3 million students study in 7,100 schools in the country. How logical is such an association as a means of educating our children and schoolchildren in the state language, given the activities of the only Balapan TV channel so far? Has this issue been discussed with the teaching and parent community?

In the conditions of transition to a new alphabet, the value of this will increase in the future. Moreover, it is time to implement the issue of expanding the state language on the state stands. We know that one of the ways to develop the language is to instill the native language to the younger generation, to increase the circulation of publications that have been formed and developed in this native language for almost a century, to preserve the number of readers from among teenagers in rural areas.

The upbringing of the younger generation, knowledge-the concept, being-the physical – is the first wealth. Children's faith in the future, a confident step begins with the introduction of national values to literature in their native language. Therefore, we believe that the time has not come to unite the children's press with other mass media.

Dear Yeraly Lukpanovich, Aida Galimovna!

First, we ask you to stop combining children's publications under a single brand.

Secondly, it is necessary to provide new opportunities for the development and modernization of children's press, children's TV and radio channels.

Thirdly, we ask you to ensure that children's publications are necessarily available to children in all educational institutions, pre-school institutions, schools, private educational centers and libraries of the country!

We also consider it necessary to create conditions for recording any child at his request!"
